Scope

The calculator is a tool for computing and planning your own personal income tax for Germany, the United Kingdom, Cyprus and South Africa. It is intended for private individuals for their own use.

No tax advice

The application does not replace tax, legal or financial advice and does not provide assistance in tax matters for your individual case. It performs calculations based on the values you enter and the legislation stored for the year. Only the assessment issued by the competent tax authority is binding.

Every calculation cites the underlying provision. Check results before filing a return and consult a qualified professional if in doubt.

Legislation and accuracy

The stored amounts, rates and thresholds correspond to the stated year of assessment and are maintained with care. Changes in legislation, administrative guidance and case law may alter results after the fact. No guarantee is given as to completeness, accuracy or currency.

Certain reference tables — such as foreign per-diem rates or exchange rates — are input aids and must be checked against the official source before use.

Liability

Use is at your own responsibility. Liability for loss arising from reliance on the calculated results is excluded except where it results from intent or gross negligence or where mandatory law provides otherwise.

Copyright

The program, its texts and design are protected by copyright. Use for your own purposes is permitted; reproduction, distribution or modification beyond that requires the right holder's consent. Statutory texts and official figures are in the public domain.

Governing law
